As a woven fabric, 100% Viscose from Bamboo is soft, smooth and luxurious. The very nature of a viscose fiber allows air to circulate freely throughout the fiber and is the only fiber with the strength and elasticity of man-made fibers. Much like silk, this long fiber does not break apart creating dust or allergens. Moreover, it is naturally resistant to germ and bacteria growth. (Note: This does not claim that bamboo is anti-bacterial.) BambooDreams throw blankets are quite warm relative to their weight.
