Over all I am very satisfied with the ultrasonic cleaner. I have found also in the meantime that a good non-abrasive toothpaste aids with the cleaning of jewerly. From my experience, it seems that once a piece of jewelry really gets tarnished that there is almost some sort of seal formed and that the tarnish will not budge with almost any jewerly tarnish removers that I have used. Toothpaste seems to break that seal. I buy jewerly from thrift shops that has obviously not been cleaned for years and years and years. I probably would not have that problem if I were just cleaning jewerly that I had bought new.
