The Dayva International Catalina Series 9 foot Wood Market Umbrella is a fancy, high quality patio umbrella that will keep you cool on hot summer days while protecting your skin and eyes from the sun's harmful UV rays. It has an octagonal shaped canopy which makes it the perfect umbrella for patio tables, the beach or your backyard. The Catalina is a large outdoor umbrella with a frame make of high quality Asian hardwood that's put together using mortise and tenon joinery to ensure a tight, solid joint that is strong and durable. It features 8 natural colored canopy ribs giving you a full 72.5-inches of headroom. The market umbrella also features a two piece 1 1/2-inch pole and a large vent to handle windy conditions. The ribs and pole are finished with a 7 coat marine varnish to weather everything you can throw at it. It can be lifted manually to open and close which allows for easy use. With certain exceptions where stainless or hardened steel is required, all the hardware used in this market umbrella is made of brass.
The shade fabric material comes in your choice of basic Olefin or upgrade to famous Sunbrella Umbrella Fabric. Though Olefin is a durable, lightweight canvas that is stain resistant and easy to clean, Sunbrella is an acrylic fabric that has been put through a special 100% through-fabric solution dying process that locks colors into the fabric. This process prevents Sunbrella from washing out or fading and enables it to withstand the sun, wind, and rain while remaining beautiful for years.
