Stamina’s Elite Total Body Recumbent Bike is designed to put you in a semi-reclined "recumbent" position so you work all the major muscles in your hips, thighs, and buttocks and get a great cardiovascular workout. The Elite Total Body Recumbent Bike tones the upper body with rotating handlebars so your hands “pedal” to work your arms, shoulders, and back. The tension knob can be adjusted to any of 8 levels to increase or decrease the workout intensity anytime without interrupting your workout. The adjustable, heavy-weighted flywheel resistance and belt drive train gives you smooth pedaling at any resistance level.
The Elite Total Body Recumbent Bike includes an electronic monitor to measure your speed, calories burned, distance, and pulse. The heart-rate monitor measures constant feedback so you stay within your target heart-rate zone and it's conveniently battery-operated. The handrails features built-in pulse sensors that take your pulse and displays it on the electronic monitor. The ergonomic seat is comfortably padded and adjusts to fit anyone.
The oversized foot pedals and adjustable foot straps hold your feet securely improving pulling motion while pedaling. Exercise bikes without this advanced feature have the pushing motion only which is not as advantageous as a pushing and pulling motion. Only 49 5/8” long by 23 5/8” wide and a height of 48 5/8”, the Stamina Elite Total Body Recumbent Exercise Bike takes up less space than other ordinary recumbent exercise bikes.
