Detailed Product Description:
The Roma is a heavy duty side post (offset) patio umbrella. The umbrella has a powder coated aluminum frame with polyurethane coating for better UV protection. The offset patio umbrella has a 10 foot octagon shape that fits most hot tub sizes. The umbrella has 78.5 square feet of coverage area. This ribbed constructed main frame is over 28% stronger than standard umbrella frames. The umbrella has a The umbrella has a ratchet style crank assembly for easy operation. It has nylon hubs and joints that do not chip or crack like plastic. The patio umbrella is easy to open and close and will not intrude on any other spa or patio item. With the use of multiple units you will have a larger shading area - this is the advantage of the square shape.
The umbrella shown comes with a cross steel base. Optional bases are also available. The Spa Deck base with foot-lock control allows the Roma patio umbrella to rotate up to 360 degrees.

Wanda's Roma style patio umbrella has a patented EZ tilt mechanism which allows you to position the the umbrella canopy in just seconds. The trigger control easily operates with the use of one hand. The EZ tilt mechanism uses a grab & pull method not a crank.
The canopy is made of Sundura which is 100% yarn dyed polyester fabric and made in China. The vent top canopy of this offset umbrella allows for hot air and wind to escape from beneath. It is easy to open and close and extends over the top of a hot tub, patio furniture or a portable pool. The umbrella has a 10 foot rib span from corner to corner (diagonal line). The canopy easily closes in seconds and stows away against the main frame for easy removal and storage. It has a valance on all sides to cut down on direct sunlight. With 84 inches at the bottom of the ribs, it allows for plenty of head clearance.
Sundura fabric is a PU coated polyester fabric which has a high strength-to-weight ratio, and is the most economical fabric used by Wanda Tech. Sundura is a 100% yarn dyed fabric, and the material is strong given its thickness and weight. Sundura is colorfast, resistant to chemicals, and can be easily washed. Polyester fibers absorb very little moisture. This fiber is quick drying, abrasion resistant; and a low cost, durable fabric. Polyester should retain its color for a year at the very least, depending on daily sun exposure and intensity. Sundura Fabric is 10 ounces per square yard fabric, which is one of the thickest fabrics in industry. The PU coating treatment on the surface provides the extra water repellent feature that most fabrics just "spray" on surface only. The PU coating is able to withstand stronger water pressure than the popular Scotchguard treatment that is used in the sofa and cushion industry.
